What's New in CRO: Interactive Collections, Faster Billing, and More
Managing billing shouldn't mean juggling different tools just follow up on overdue accounts. This quarter, we took a big step toward fixing that.
We're building CRO into a fully integrated billing system: one place to enter revenue, track your most important assets, manage collections, and run reports. No more duplicate entry or reconciling between systems. Just a single source of truth with real-time account balances, so you always know what's been billed, what's outstanding, and what's been paid.
This quarter's release, Interactive Collections, is the foundation of that vision. Over the coming months, we'll continue rolling out additional billing functionality.
We also released other improvements that made moving between workflows faster and managing activity across multiple branches easier. Here's what's new:

We Introduced Interactive Collections
For most back-office teams, billing and collections is one of the most fragmented workflows in the business. Aging reports live in one place, invoices in another, follow-up notes in a spreadsheet, and call history buried in someone's inbox.
Keeping everyone aligned on who's been contacted, what was said, and what still needs attention is a constant challenge. That’s why we built Interactive Collections, to bring all of that into a single workflow inside the CRO platform.
With Interactive Collections, billing and back-office teams can:
Rapidly Identify Past-Due Accounts
Now it is easy to see exactly where your attention is needed. Billing teams can filter and sort past-due accounts by aging bucket or customer name to quickly surface the most overdue balances first. Statements can also be sent in batches to save time during routine follow-ups on past-due invoices.
Organize Follow-Ups with Baskets
You can now create Collections Baskets that group accounts into focused batches for follow-up, rather than working through one account at a time across multiple screens. Teams can build a basket and work through it in dedicated collections sessions, and if something comes up mid-session, they can save their progress and pick up right where they left off. No lost work or scattered notes, just organized, structured follow-up.
Work Through Collections in Focused Sessions
Once accounts are loaded into a basket, there is a guided workflow to keep things moving. Within each session, users can review invoice history, reach out to customers, and log call notes or account updates directly in CRO. All of which are tied to the invoice record and visible to everyone in the office. The full communication history lives right where it belongs.
Key Benefits at a Glance: Back-office teams can now filter and sort past-due accounts by aging bucket or customer name, send statements in batches, group accounts into baskets, log call notes and account updates directly in CRO.
More Enhancements to Know About
In addition to Interactive Collections, we introduced several other improvements that make everyday workflows faster and easier to navigate.
Jump from Dispatch to Invoice in One Click
Operations teams move between dispatch and billing constantly, and every extra click adds up. The new Dispatch-to-Billing shortcut creates a direct link from any job to its associated invoice, collapsing what used to take several steps into a single action. Whether you're verifying pricing, confirming invoice details, or collecting payment before assigning a truck, it's all faster now.
Filter Trucks by Region
The new regional filtering improvements make it easier for dispatchers who are managing large fleets to group trucks by region, and the platform remembers that selection on login, so every session starts exactly where it needs to.
Innovation That Keeps Pace with Your Business
Interactive Collections is just the beginning. Every update we release this quarter, from collections workflows to dispatch shortcuts and regional filtering, reflects the same commitment: we're continuously innovating to reduce the manual work that slows your team down and give you a clearer, more connected view of your business.
The fully integrated billing system we're building isn't a distant roadmap item. It's already taking shape, release by release. We're excited about what's coming next, and we'll keep you informed every step of the way.
